1) Jasmine Rice is a household favourite due to its soft and fragrant texture. Sustainable substitute for Thai Hom Mali.
2) Brown Rice is a whole grain with its bran and germ intact. Consuming it provides more fiber, vitamins and minerals than your white rice.
3) Mixed Brown Rice is packed with fiber, an all-time favourite for a weight loss diet. Packed with fibre, lignans and exceptionally high in magnesium, which have beneficial effects on heart health.
Ratio, 70% Brown Rice + 30% Red Rice.
4) Japonica Rice also known as Sushi Rice. The popular short and round grain used in Japanese and Korean cuisine. Retains taste even when cooled.
5) White Glutinous Rice, or sticky rice. Contains various B vitamins, selenium, zinc, magnesium, copper and phosphorous. It has almost no fat or cholesterol.
Used in rice dumplings and desserts.
6) Red Rice contains antioxidants to counteract free radicals, rich in fiber, lower high cholesterol & blood glucose. Better heart health and good for bone health.
7) Black Rice and its signature black-purple color comes from a pigment called anthocyanin, which has potent antioxidant properties. Anthocyanin is a potent anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and has anticancer effects.
8) Basmati Rice or Briyani Rice has higher fibre content than other rice. Controls cholesterol and reduce heart disease.
